Time for a Musical Interlude...

Nationally, the Tories are sharpening their claws with petty attacks on "Iggy" in the House of Commons.

In the Québec nation, Charest is preparing us for a deficit budget to be unveiled on March 19th which will only add to our provincial debt load. (Already standing at nearly 42% of our GDP)

In Montréal, there is a suggestion that the city tighten up its administration (and thus save some taxpayer's money) by paring down the number of boroughs from 19 to 10. The Mayor's reply is that this isn't the time to be embarking on such a course. Read this interesting column in today's Gazette.

In the USA, California has voted to remove civil rights to a large segment of its population. Nationally, the de-facto leader of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, wishes failure upon the Obama stimulus package at a time when the world's economy goes down the toilet (largely due to the past Republican economic strategies).

I think it's time for a little 'Judy"...
